Antique Japanese Meiji Satsuma earthenware vase 14 inches tall

Description: Absolutely Gorgeous Antique Japanese Meiji Satsuma earthenware vase 14 inches tall. We know very little about this piece so if anyone has info to add it would be greatly appreciated. It appears to be very well made.

Condition: There is a whole on the bottom rim that was plugged with a cork and French coin is affixed to the bottom that appears to be covering another hole, see pics. There is a small red mark to the top lip and a small chip.
