Antique Japanese Edo Meiji Period. Kyoto Satsuma By Kinkozan Mini Vase Pottery C. Kinkozan Sobei was at a Kyoto Awataguchi ware potter who continued his family business for generations. The seventh generation Sobei Kinkozan left behind many works during the Meiji and Taisho periods. They produced innovative works such as Kyo-yaki-style painting on Satsuma ware under the name ``Kinkozan,'' and exported them overseas.

He also established a ceramics testing institute and a ceramics training school, fostering young talent and contributing to the promotion of Kyoto's ceramic industry. As you can see in the photo, the flowers and children are carefully drawn in very fine detail from the end of the Edo period and around the Meiji period. Size: Height:about 1.85"(4.7cm) Diameter:about 1.46"(3.7cm). There are no cracks, chips, cracks, and it is in very good condition for a antique.
